Security Guard in Hemmingford
CHARCO Security is looking for several motivated, versatile, and on-call-ready security guards for various assignments in Hemmingford.

Description of assignments:
Camping: Preventive surveillance of campground areas, a dissuasive presence among campers, intervention in case of disruptive behavior, enforcement of curfew, management of gatherings, verification of wristbands or access passes, and assistance to site managers based on the specific needs of the campground.
Event security : Ensure the safety of participants and the site during festivals, shows, and other public events.
Detainee monitoring (in partnership with the Sûreté du Québec) : Camera surveillance with no direct contact. You will alert the SQ in case of suspicious behavior. The only contact with the detainee occurs during meal delivery, through a small window in the cell door, with no physical interaction.
What we offer:
- Salary: starting at $21.00/hour + premiums depending on the assignment
- Hours: up to 40 hours/week depending on needs
- Schedule: day, evening, night shifts – from Monday to Sunday
- Status: on-call, ideal for candidates who are flexible and available
Requirements
- Valid security guard license
- Valid first aid certification
- Excellent command of French (spoken and written)
- Clear criminal record and ability to pass a thorough background check
- Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for long periods (4 to 12 hours)
- Ability to write detailed reports (hourly during the day, every 30 minutes at night)
- Strong customer service skills
