{"id":12440,"date":"2026-04-23T09:36:44","date_gmt":"2026-04-23T13:36:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.charco.ca\/emplois\/security-guards-in-victoriaville\/"},"modified":"2026-04-23T09:49:34","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T13:49:34","slug":"security-guards-in-victoriaville","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/www.charco.ca\/en\/emplois\/security-guards-in-victoriaville\/","title":{"rendered":"Security guards in Victoriaville"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>CHARCO S\u00e9curit\u00e9 is looking for several motivated, versatile security guards who are available to work on call, have access to a vehicle, and are ready to take on a variety of assignments in the Victoriaville area.<\/p>\n\n<p>If you are flexible, hold a valid driver\u2019s licence, have access to a vehicle at all times, possess a valid security guard licence, and live in Victoriaville, we would be pleased to receive your application.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Description of assignments:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Security in a long-term care facility (CHSLD)<\/strong>: ensuring site surveillance, access control, and incident prevention to maintain a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The security guard may also be required to monitor certain residents who need closer attention, including individuals with reduced autonomy or cognitive impairments. They act with calmness, respect, and vigilance to ensure residents\u2019 safety and well-being.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong> Hotel security:<\/strong> on-site presence to ensure the safety of guests and staff, monitoring access points and common areas, handling unexpected situations, and providing customer service. The security guard helps maintain a safe and welcoming environment. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Detainee monitoring (in partnership with the S\u00fbret\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec):<\/strong> camera-based surveillance with no direct contact. You alert the SQ in case of any suspicious behavior. The only interaction with the detainee occurs during meal delivery, through a small hatch in the cell door, with no physical contact.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Event security:<\/strong> ensuring the safety of attendees and the site during festivals, shows, and other events, including access control, crowd management, and emergency response.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Corporate and retail security: <\/strong>conducting preventive patrols, monitoring access points, providing customer service, and responding according to the client\u2019s specific needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>What we offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Schedule: <\/strong>primarily evenings and nights, including weekends<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Status<\/strong>: <strong>on-call<\/strong>, ideal for candidates who are flexible and available<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Valid security guard licence (required)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s licence and access to a vehicle at all times (required).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid first aid certification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent command of French (spoken and written)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clear criminal record and ability to pass a thorough background check<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for long periods (4 to 12 hours)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to write detailed reports (hourly during the day, every 30 minutes at night)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong customer service skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Looking for a dynamic, meaningful job that keeps you connected to your community?<br\/><strong>Apply now and join a human, committed, and proudly local team.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Important: <\/strong>please indicate your <strong>city of residence<\/strong> on your r\u00e9sum\u00e9.
