{"id":6538,"date":"2026-06-01T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-01T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.charco.ca\/emplois\/event-security-guard\/"},"modified":"2026-06-01T10:21:45","modified_gmt":"2026-06-01T14:21:45","slug":"event-security-guard","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/www.charco.ca\/en\/emplois\/event-security-guard\/","title":{"rendered":"Event Security Guard in Terrebonne"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>CHARCO Security is looking for several motivated, versatile security guards who are ready to work on call and have access to a vehicle for various event security assignments in Terrebonne. <\/p>\n\n<p>If you are flexible, hold a valid driver\u2019s licence, have access to a vehicle at all times, possess a valid security guard licence, and live in Terrebonne, we would be pleased to receive your application.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong><strong>Main Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Access Control:<\/strong> Managing entry points, checking tickets and invitations to ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed access to the venue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Surveillance and Patrols: <\/strong>Regular rounds of the venue to prevent incidents, monitor the premises, and ensure a secure environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Crowd Management: <\/strong>Planning and organizing the flow of participants to minimize the risk of crowding and create a smooth and enjoyable experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Emergency Response: <\/strong>Quick intervention and expertise in first aid to efficiently manage any emergency situation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Assistance and Guest Support:<\/strong> Assisting guests and answering their questions to create a welcoming and reassuring atmosphere.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Types of Events:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Musical, cultural events and festivals<br\/><\/strong>(Music festivals, concerts, outdoor shows, art festivals, exhibitions, media events, product launches, national celebrations)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sporting Events<br\/><\/strong>(Sport competitions, games, tournaments, races, marathons, e-sports events)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Community and Public Events<br\/><\/strong>(Parades, neighborhood festivals, political gatherings, demonstrations, charity events, marches)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Corporate and Professional Events<br\/><\/strong>(Conventions, trade shows, conferences, seminars, corporate parties, banquets, and galas)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Private and Family Events<br\/><\/strong>(Weddings, private receptions, birthday parties, family gatherings, year-end celebrations)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Leisure Activities and Outdoor Gatherings<br\/><\/strong>(Group leisure activities, agricultural fairs, outdoor events, camping, religious gatherings)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>What we offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Variable schedule: <\/strong>day, evening, night \u2013 weekdays and weekends<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Status:<\/strong> On-call, ideal for flexible and available individuals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Valid security guard license<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Up-to-date first aid training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license and vehicle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent command of French (spoken and written)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clear criminal record and ability to pass a thorough background check<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for long periods (4 to 12 hours)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to write detailed reports (hourly during the day, every 30 minutes at night)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong customer service skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Important: <\/strong>Please indicate your <strong>city of residence <\/strong>on your r\u00e9sum\u00e9.
