Security Guard – Mont-Tremblant

CHARCO Security is looking for several motivated, versatile security guards who are ready to work on call and have access to a vehicle for various types of assignments in Mont-Tremblant.

If you are flexible, hold a valid driver’s licence, have access to a vehicle at all times, possess a security guard licence, and live in Mont-Tremblant, we would be pleased to receive your application.

Description of assignments

• Private property surveillance in Mont-Tremblant: ensure the protection of equipment, materials, and installations during operations, conduct preventive patrols, control access to the site, and respond to unusual situations in order to reduce the risks of theft, vandalism, or trespassing.
• Hotel security: on-site presence to ensure the safety of guests and staff, monitoring access points and common areas, handling unexpected situations, and providing customer service. The security guard helps maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
• Corporate and commercial security : Preventive rounds, access control, customer service — tasks vary depending on the company’s needs.
• Event security: ensure the safety of participants and the site during festivals, shows, and other events.
• Detainee monitoring (in partnership with the Sûreté du Québec): camera-based surveillance with no direct contact. You will alert the SQ in case of any suspicious behavior. The only interaction with the detainee occurs during meal delivery, through a small hatch in the cell door, with no physical contact.

Requirements:

• Schedule: day, evening, and night shifts, Monday through Sunday
• Status: on-call, ideal for candidates who are flexible and available

License/certificate:

• Valid security guard licence (required)
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle at all times (required).
• Valid first aid certification
• Excellent command of French (spoken and written)
• Clear criminal record and ability to pass a thorough background check
• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for long periods (4 to 12 hours)
• Ability to write detailed reports (hourly during the day, every 30 minutes at night)
• Strong customer service skills
